How it kills
Multi-site contact fungicides
Attacks many enzymes in the fungus at once.
Sits on the leaf as a protective coat and does not move in the plant.
Works where the droplet hits, with little or no movement through the plant. Coverage decides how well it works.
Where it fits
In the season.
Commonly used on
- Leaf disease
- Seed rots
Good to know
- It works only where it lands, so it needs to go on before disease arrives.
- Check the label on crops and re-entry intervals.
- Hitting many sites keeps resistance risk low, but rain can wear it off and new growth is not protected.
