How it kills
Multi-site contact fungicides
Ties up many enzymes in the fungus at once.
Sits on the leaf as a protective coat and does not move in the plant.
Works where the droplet hits, with little or no movement through the plant. Coverage decides how well it works.
Where it fits
In the season.
Commonly used on
- Leaf disease
- Pulses
Good to know
- It works only where it lands, so coverage and timing matter.
- A useful partner with single-site fungicides.
- Hitting many sites keeps resistance risk low, but it has to be on before infection.
